Watch Jon’s interview with Karen Fried, creator of the ‘Just for Now’ series and international trainer and writer on the Violet Oaklander method.

Karen Fried writes:

The Just for Now story began in March of 2020, with an article on how to use Violet’s work in a crisis. While we know what actually happened, the thought then was: Just for Now could be a mindset for us while we “flatten the curve” of the pandemic for a couple of weeks. And though we knew Violet’s reach throughout the world, it was truly remarkable how Zoom communication could bring so many people together to share ideas, gain support and most importantly, connect with Violet. Even at 93, with sight and hearing impairments, she was able to hear and see (mostly 🙂) the group that gathered, first weekly, then monthly. Zoom even offered a way to mourn together when Violet passed away, in September of 2021.
